The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) has revealed that Wynward Insurance Group has kept its support for the association’s Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the Full Partner level.
The BIP is IBAC’s national advertising campaign which raises awareness of the value that brokers provide for their clients.
As a Full Partner, Wynward not only extends its support and investment for the BIP, but for the IBAC’s other key initiatives, which include the association’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and its federal advocacy for maintaining the separation of banking and insurance.
“Wynward is proud to demonstrate our commitment to the broker channel by remaining a Full Partner in the Broker Identity Program for 2022. As a commercial insurer we see the value that brokers bring every day, advocating for policyholders and providing sound advice,” said Wynward president and CEO Darryl Levy.
Levy added that Wynward’s success as a company “relies on strong broker partnerships,” and that its growth trajectory was only made possible thanks to brokers seeing the benefits of a Wynward policy and effectively communicating that to clients.
“IBAC welcomes Wynward’s renewed partnership and their continued investment in our programs and priorities,” said IBAC CEO Peter Braid. “Wynward’s long-standing commitment to distribute their products exclusively through the broker channel underscores our shared values of serving the best interests of insurance consumers, and recognizes the enduring benefits of the advice and support that brokers provide.”
Wynward had also renewed its Full Partner support for IBAC and the BIP in 2020 and 2021. Last year, Darryl Levy stated that the company has always been a proud supporter of the broker channel throughout its 100 years in business, and that the insurer is proud to have brokers as its sole distribution channel.
