Western Financial Group has announced that it will open a redesigned branch in Dawson Creek on January 31.
The branch is part of the company’s efforts to provide service through multiple channels, including online, by phone and in person.
Western Financial Group chief executive officer Grant Ostir expressed his excitement over the reopening.
“[W]e have robust plans for growth while maintaining our commitment to care in all that we do,” he said. “Buying insurance should be easy and we want our customers to come to us for advice, knowing we’ve got their best interests at heart. Branch opening events like these give us a great opportunity to connect with our current and future customers, giving them a chance to get to know us and what we’re all about.”
The new branch features an updated design and includes two drive-thru windows.
The branch will operate Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm (drive-thru only from 6pm to 8pm), Saturday from 9am to 5:30pm (in-office and drive-thru), and Sunday from 11am to 5pm (drive-thru only).
Last year, the company opened a branch in Cold Lake, Alberta which offers “high level” insurance expertise. The opening of that branch included a BBQ fundraiser and a complimentary “mocktail” station that will support the Lakeland Centre for FASD.
It also opened a Vernon branch with its annual 5km charity walk last May. The opening was also celebrated by having a BBQ fundraiser. Meanwhile, funds from the walk benefitted the NONA Child Development Centre.
