Wawanesa Mutual Insurance has appointed Graham Haigh to the role of vice-president of broker distribution.
Haigh most recently served as vice-president of business development. A release said that Haigh’s title change “demonstrates how Wawanesa is 100% committed to [its] Canadian broker network.”
In his updated role, Haigh will continue to be responsible for all aspects of business development while delivering tools and products to grow existing broker partner relationships. He is also in charge of creating new relationships with Wawanesa’s 1,700+ broker partners across the country.
He will be based out of Wawanesa’s executive office in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Wawanesa said in a release that Haigh is supported by a senior leadership team, consisting of director of business development in Western Canada Jamus MacPherson, executive office business development manager Paul Fast, and director of business development in Eastern Canada Javier Ibanez.
