Criminal charges against Min-Hoi Yau alleging he had sold fake car insurance in person in March 2014, which were referred to in an alert published by Toronto Police in April 2015 and were reported by Insurance Business on 9 April 2015, have been dropped following the police receiving evidence that Yau was not even in Canada at that time.
