Aviva Canada is looking to grow its direct channel to “meet changing customer needs,” by hiring insurance advisors. Advisors will serve as underwriting professionals selling personal general insurance directly to consumers nationally, on top of underwriting responsibilities. Scotiabank has an opening for a manager position, which will be in charge of overseeing the banking company’s insurance operations. The manager will help keep a “customer-focused culture” within the insurance team, while reporting business results to senior management and other stakeholders.
