The Guarantee Company of North America (The Guarantee) has appointed Dave Fratarcangeli as national vice president, contract surety.
Fratarcangeli has over 15 years of experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, having joined The Guarantee’s surety division in 2007. He has assumed various leadership roles within the contract surety division, most recently as director, national surety. He obtained the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations.
In his new role, Fratarcangeli will lead The Guarantee’s national underwriting team in their Toronto head office. He will have oversight of all aspects of the contract surety division in collaboration with David Smith, senior vice president & head of Canadian surety at The Guarentee. His expertise in all aspects of contract surety, and extensive knowledge of the construction marketplace, will help The Guarantee bring streamlined services to broker partners and contractor clients.
The Guarantee is a specialty insurance firm within the North American marketplace providing insurance products to niche segments including the construction industry, corporate programs, and customized personal insurance.
