There is a new CEO of Canada at
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
The company has today revealed that Adrian Hall, a British national and Canadian citizen, will join the firm in the role to lead its strategy across the country. He will based in Toronto.
“Canada is the 7th largest commercial insurance market in the world, and it is continuing to grow – particularly in industries, such as infrastructure, manufacturing and energy, where we have significant expertise,” commented Ivan Gonzalez, the firm’s CEO of North America. “Appointing an executive of Adrian’s caliber demonstrates our commitment to both building our business and enhancing our client service in the country.

“He will be instrumental in the implementation of our primary and lead placement strategy, at a time when Canadian corporations are increasingly sophisticated and risk managers demand both domestic and multi-national service capabilities.”
Hall has worked for more than 20 years in the insurance industry holding roles in the Middle East, UK, Canada and Latin America. Assuming regulatory approval he will be appointed as the chief agent of the Westport Insurance Corporation Canada branch.
