The Canadian government issued a Public Weather Warning Wednesday morning for powerful winter winds and affecting much of Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island and many Maritime communities.
By Wednesday afternoon, the majority of warnings were for potential snow storms hitting Quebec from the Gulf of St. Lawrence and southern Ontario from Lake Huron.
Storm season is picking up and Atlantic Canada tends to feel the first squalls of the year.
