Digital insurance company Sonnet Insurance is now providing a new group insurance offering.
The product combines home and auto insurance coverage and allows employers to use it to make a “compelling” compensation package, a release said. Plan members not only enjoy coverage through the group insurance, but also gain access to Sonnet Connect, a network of financial brands that can help members enhance their financial wellness.
“Customers value the simplicity of Sonnet, which helps Canadians to insure their home and car in as little as five minutes, entirely online,” said Sonnet vice-president of group insurance Eric Marion. “We’re excited to bring this innovative home and auto insurance program to employers who are looking to build employee engagement through supportive and convenient self-service financial wellness options.”
A release said that Deloitte has signed on as one of the first to participate.
“We’re excited to bring Sonnet’s new group insurance offering to Deloitte’s 13,000 employees across Canada,” said Deloitte partner and vice-chair Adam Burke. “We are confident that our employees will benefit from the exceptionally simple experience.”
Sonnet and Deloitte have been collaborating for some time; the latter was instrumental in building the Sonnet platform more than three years ago.
“We have spent years working with Deloitte to develop an innovative, self-driven platform that consistently provides best-in-class customer service,” commented Sonnet SVP Roger Dunbar.
