P&C insurance technology provider Hubio has announced that Saskatchewan Mutual Insurance (SMI) has just obtained CSIO Certification for both Personal and Commercial Lines eDocs.
This certification allows SMI to download personal and commercial lines electronic documents to multiple broker management systems, including Applied TAM/EPIC, Keal, CIMData, CSSI The Broker Workstation and PowerBroker.
As a broker-based company, SMI “has invested in a download solution in order to assist brokers in managing their customers’ needs,” a release said.
“Over the past several years we have been making major investments to upgrade our technology, and promote broker ease-of-doing-business,” said SMI president Laura Wiebe.

“Our team was able to take eDocs live quickly, and we are pleased with the effort from Hubio,” said SMI vice-president of Underwriting & Marketing Matina Kipouros. “They are a leader in broker connectivity technology, and we are very happy with the solution.”
“I am very pleased that SMI has successfully implemented an eDocs solution that follows CSIO standards, and provides eDocs for both personal and commercial lines of business,” commented CSIO president and CEO Catherine Smola.
