The Insurance Business Canada Awards are an indelible part of the nation’s insurance industry, celebrating the trailblazers and success stories of the last 12 months. Returning to Toronto’s Liberty Grand on November 16, this in-person event will be the social event of the year, gathering folks from across the country for an evening of social mingling and celebration.
The ceremony recognizes the hard-work and achievements of brokers, brokerages, MGAs, insurers, underwriters and risk managers. Now in its eighth year, the IBCAs are the leading independent awards presentation for the Canadian insurance industry.
In advance of the IBC Awards, Insurance Business is excited to reveal its list of the 2023 excellence awardees. Visit this link to see who made the list.
In order to finalize the recipients of the excellence awards, IBC carried out a nationwide call for nominations from May 15-July 14, 2023, during which industry personnel submitted a nominee’s contact details and a brief reason for nomination within a 300-word limit.
Then, the Insurance Business Canada Awards team conducted research and drew on knowledge and information gained through Insurance Business Canada to support and supplement nominations received. Excellence awardees were determined from both pools of information.
Once chosen, all excellence awardees are invited to complete a detailed submission as an opportunity to address the category criteria in more detail. Each submission will remain confidential unless otherwise marked and will not be shared with any third parties other than the judges.
