Insurance Business Canada (IBC) has unveiled its 2024 list of top brokers, identifying professionals who have demonstrated strong commitment to client service and risk advisory.
The findings highlight the importance of brokers’ roles in supporting clients through complex insurance decisions, with nearly all respondents noting their reliance on brokers’ expertise.
This annual recognition, now in its second year, involves a detailed survey process designed to highlight brokers who go beyond transactional relationships to serve as trusted advisors.
Between June 17 and August 2, Insurance Business Canada conducted a national outreach campaign, engaging thousands of readers to nominate brokers and assess them based on six service-oriented criteria. This survey process aimed to measure brokers’ commitment to client support and advocacy.
To qualify for the final list, brokers needed to achieve an average score of 8 or higher across these criteria. The evaluation focused specifically on service quality rather than metrics like revenue, allowing clients’ perspectives on support and advocacy to drive the rankings.
