These are challenging times for insurance brokers. The hard insurance market has made it more difficult for brokers to find adequate and affordable coverage for their clients. At the same time, brokers have had to shift their operations to remote working due the COVID-19 pandemic and meet the ever-increasing digital demands of today’s consumers – all while maintaining the strong client relationships that they’ve built over time.
In this challenging landscape, some insurance brokerages in the Canadian market have gone above and beyond to service their clients and provide a best-in-class customer service. Now, the best in the business have been highlighted courtesy of Insurance Business Canada’s Five-Star Brokerages 2021 report.
Available to view now for free, the report was built by Insurance Business Canada asking brokers, their clients, and leading risk managers across the country to nominate the brokerages they felt were most deserving of recognition.
Over a period of 15 weeks, Insurance Business Canada’s research team gathered enough in-depth information to assign weighted values to each area of brokerage service. Winners were also judged based on the strength of their individual nominations.
At the end of the research period, the brokerages that received the highest rankings in terms of work quality, specialist expertise and client service were named 5-Star Brokerages.
Among this year's winners are Avant Insurance Brokers, Billyard Insurance Group, BrokerLink, and KRGInsure.
