It’s almost time for a brand new virtual event from Insurance Business, free for brokers and risk managers.
Broker Connect is Canada’s new networking event dedicated exclusively to brokers and insurance professionals, aimed at uniting the industry for networking and business during these difficult times.
This free online event – the first of its kind in the market – allows brokers to visit virtual booths, arrange one-to-one video chats, gain or distribute brand awareness, leverage new connections in a timely and exciting way, and generally keep the wheels of their business turning.
There will also be a keynote discussion panel – ‘What's next? How the coronavirus pandemic has changed (and will change) our industry’ – featuring the following big-name industry players:
Colin Simpson is the chief executive officer of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) where he leads the strategic vision and execution of the 14,000+ member organization. A long–time proponent of the broker channel and Canadian insurance landscape, Colin specializes in corporate transformation and change management.
Tina Osen is president of HUB International Canada, the largest insurance broker in the country. A recognized leader and innovator who has championed employee empowerment, customer service and community investment, Tina has 20 years of experience in the insurance sector.
As head of Canada for Willis Towers Watson, Brian is responsible for all lines of the risk and human resource consulting businesses across the organization. This combination of experience and expertise provides Brian with a unique perspective on the points of intersection between people and risk.
Michael Stack assumed the role of chief executive officer of Archway Insurance Inc. in December 2016. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry on both the insurer and brokerage side of the business.
Don Forgeron has a successful track record of more than 30 years in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry. He works with Canadian governments and key stakeholders and is leading a national conversation with governments on the need to adapt to climate change and on the need to better prepare Canada for an earthquake.
Over 350 brokers, risks managers, underwriters and insurers are set to meet virtually on Thursday. Limited places are available – so prospective attendees are urged to sign up now to be part of it.
This virtual event is free for brokers and risk managers. Registration is open here.
