Quotey has announced that it is expanding its commercial and specialty insurer marketplace to include CFC’s cyber insurance product as the global specialist provider becomes part of the newly launched platform.
Through this integration, broker partners utilizing Quotey can now access cyber insurance quotes from CFC. The process allows for rapid quoting for over a thousand specific industries, with CFC offering comprehensive coverage alongside its cyber claims and incident response services.
The addition of CFC’s cyber insurance product marks a big step forward for the marketplace, according to Nick Kidd, Quotey’s CEO and co-founder.
“In my experience, cyber insurance is an extremely important yet highly misunderstood product in Canada,” Kidd said in an emailed news release. “By working with CFC, we intend to help Canadian insurance brokers de-mystify the product and provide better overall protection for their clients.”
Laura Martin, CFC’s cyber development manager in Canada, commented on the partnership.
“We’re delighted to join forces with Quotey and widen access for Canadian brokers to our market-leading cyber insurance,” she said. “This partnership shows our joint commitment to increasing cyber adoption in the Canadian market and providing SMBs access to our award-winning cyber solution that starts working the moment a policy binds.”
Quotey launched last year across all Canadian provinces except Quebec, where it is set to become available in 2024. It is Canada’s first multi-insurer commercial lines quoting and cover comparison tool for brokers.
Brokers on the platform can complete a single digital application for more than 700 classes of business and receive instant quotes from various insurers, including the newly added CFC.
