PROLINK Insurance has named Alliya Chawla as practice development manager for its staffing & recruitment solutions business.
As practice development manager, Chawla will create and implement “sustainable, differentiated growth strategies and plans” to enhance the insurance experience of PROLINK’s clients in the staffing industry, the company said.
Chawla has more than 15 years of client management experience across the brokering, underwriting, and distribution sides of the insurance industry. She previously served as a risk management growth leader at Marsh Canada, and was a business development manager in specialty lines at Intact Insurance.
“Alliya’s strong leadership skills and client-centric mindset will be critical to our efforts in building trust and long-term value for our clients. Her proven approach to risk management aligns perfectly with PROLINK’s vision,” said PROLINK CEO Derrick Leue.
Leue also said that PROLINK’s clients will rely on Chawla as a “collaborative partner that can help them execute their long-term strategic objectives.”
In November, PROLINK named Kevan Thompson as practice manager of sustainable technologies. Thompson has more than 20 years of experience as a construction practice leader, having previously served as the industry leader and vice president of construction at both Jones DesLauriers Insurance and Cowan Insurance Group.
