Banding together—small companies in a plethora of industries have done it for decades, but it seems for independent insurance agencies, the concept is still a growing one.

So-called cluster groups, networks and alliances have been experiencing great rates of organic growth, and many Canadian insurance professionals either belong to a network group or are thinking of joining one.

In our latest nationwide survey, we’re asking you to tell us why—why do you belong to a network? Why don’t you? If you are a member, which benefits do you most appreciate and how is your network performing in delivering on those promised benefits?

This short survey is your chance to send your thoughts and feedback to network groups across the country, and to be a part of our upcoming feature, “Producers on Networks and Alliances,” which will run in the upcoming issue of Insurance Business Canada.

With your help, we are identifying the most important attributes of agency networks—everything from access to larger and niche markets to greater commission and profit sharing opportunities.

Your messages will be included as an integral part of that message, so don’t miss this chance to make your thoughts known and improve the industry for the better.

To learn what others have to say about the growing group of networks and alliances, stay tuned for the next issue of Insurance Business Canada and take the survey here:
