National brokerage PLATFORM Insurance Management has added senior vice presidents Jeff Saranko and Rick Schrank to its construction industry group.

Saranko brings more than two and a half decades of surety industry expertise to PLATFORM. His extensive experience includes 16 years at a major global surety brokerage and over 11 years as a senior surety underwriter at a top Canadian insurance company.

The key hire is known for assisting clients in business growth by offering thorough advisory services and developing robust surety programs, including multi-billion-dollar facilities.

Similarly, Schrank has years of experience in the construction and surety industry. In his previous role as senior vice president and team lead at a global brokerage, he excelled in implementing strategic initiatives and fostering strong client relationships.

Additionally, Schrank’s commitment to mentoring and developing industry professionals aligns with PLATFORM’s values. The new arrival looks forward to leveraging his over a decade of experience to drive innovation and provide strategic solutions for clients in the construction sector.

The new additions come on the heels of the opening of PLATFORM’s new office in Calgary.

“We are thrilled to bring PLATFORM's renowned expertise and client-focused approach to Calgary,” managing director Fraser de Walle said in July. “Our team is dedicated to delivering customized insurance solutions that address the specific challenges and opportunities of the Alberta market.”

The Alberta leader is supported by senior vice presidents Stephanie Kuntz, Colin Hasick, and Mitchell Taylor, and senior account managers Deanna Walker and Barbara Murphy.
