Petline, a member of the Economical Insurance group of companies, has launched a new pet insurance solution that aims to benefit budget-conscious pet owners.
Called Peppermint, the new product allows customers to purchase four pet insurance plans – Lite, Base, Plus, and Prime – at varying price points. Each plan comes with customized coverage levels for accidents and illness and also includes special coverage for alternative therapy, behavioural therapy, and medical devices, a release noted.
Petline said that Peppermint offers four options “to empower the customer by presenting value solutions at a lower cost,” allowing the customer to keep their pets at the peak of health without hurting their budgets.
“We’re so excited to launch Peppermint to make quality pet insurance more accessible to Canadian pet owners,” remarked Petline vice-president David Fitzpatrick. “Peppermint is an easy and affordable approach to loving pet care that will make a difference for our customers.”
