Peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace RVezy.com has announced that it is launching an RV rental insurance policy in Nova Scotia.

The marketplace was launched in 2016 and connects RV owners with vacationers who are interested in renting the campers. RVezy later partnered with Aon Insurance to create the first peer-to-peer RV rental insurance policy, providing coverage to RVs registered in Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec. By launching the product in the province of Nova Scotia, the company said it aims to expand its foothold in the Maritime region.

“RVezy brings vacationers and RV owners together from around the globe,” the company said in a statement. “Bringing the RV sharing economy to Atlantic Canada has been a priority of RVezy from the beginning.”

“The beauty and culture of our Maritime provinces is a bucket list destination for so many Canadians and international tourists,” said RVezy co-founder Michael McNaught. “Nova Scotia has always been at the top of our list for making RV travel more accessible to travelers. I spent time in my youth working in a fishing village in Nova Scotia and fell in love with the East Coast lifestyle. The beauty of the landscape, diversity of wildlife and incredibly welcoming locals should be experienced by all Canadian travellers.”
