PartnerRe has appointed Jonathan Schriber as head of Structured Risk, North America P&C.
Schriber has specialized in structured risk solutions for much of his 24-year reinsurance career. In his new role, he will be working out of PartnerRe’s office in Stamford as part of the North America P&C business unit and he will be reporting to Dick Sanford, head of North America P&C and president of PartnerRe US.
Before taking this post, Schriber was chief underwriting officer, Global Reinsurance at W.R. Berkley Corporation, where he was worked on underwriting strategy, aggregate management and product development.
He joined Berkley Re America in July 2007 to manage the North American brokered treaty unit where he had success developing new lines of business, including structured risk. He also opened a Canadian branch.
Schriber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
