PartnerRe has today announced the appointment of Jonathan Colello as CEO, P&C Americas. He has also been named president of Partner Reinsurance Company of the US, and will take up both positions on July 01, 2019.
In his new role, Colello will have executive responsibility for leading PartnerRe’s property & casualty business in the US, Canada and Latin America, and for the company’s Health business in the US. He will report to Emmanuel Clarke, PartnerRe president and CEO, and will be a member of the reinsurer’s executive leadership team.

Colello brings 20 years of reinsurance expertise to his new role. In his most recent position, he served as North America president for AXIS RE, where he was responsible for all underwriting platforms in Bermuda, Canada and the US. Prior to that, he also served as president and chief underwriting officer, US, for AXIS Re.
