Zurich North America has named Eric Cittadino as strategic business unit leader for diversified programs, specialty auto and aftermarket within the programs unit of alternative markets.
Cittadino moves from his current role with the firm as chief of staff for alternative markets. He replaces David Banks, who will retire at the end of the year. He will begin his new role on September 01 and will be responsible for growing existing programs and securing new programs to establish future success for Zurich NA, reporting directly to Greg Massey, head of programs.
“Our ability to fill the programs’ strategic business unit leader position with someone from within our Zurich family is something to celebrate,” said Massey. “Eric has held a number of key leadership roles across Zurich including participation on our alternative markets leadership team, which will greatly benefit our programs’ customers.”
Cittadino has more than 20 years’ experience in underwriting. He has served several key roles in Zurich since joining in 2000, including regional vice president in construction for commercial markets where he was responsible for staff management and development; annual planning and premium forecasting, regional profitability and agency management.
