Global broking company Brokerslink, which manages a worldwide broking network across 100 countries, has this morning revealed a new Canadian partner in the form of commercial insurance brokerage, Navacord.
The addition of Navacord to the Brokerslink network follows shortly after Alliant Insurance Services (Alliant) became an official partner of the business in the US. The two businesses are set to strengthen Brokerslink’s position in North America.
Navacord trades under fifteen different broker partner brands across the Canada, including the likes of Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers and Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management. The brokerage is expanding rapidly through organic and inorganic growth, and has already announced numerous acquisitions in 2019.
Shawn DeSantis, Navacord president and CEO commented: “Navacord has doubled in size over a four-year period and our desire is to more than double again by 2022. We knew that becoming Brokerslink’s only Canadian Affiliate would allow us to serve the needs of our clients even better and help us to achieve our goals.”
Through Navacord’s unique ownership model, partners within the brokerage can maintain their independence and their identities while also thriving within the group. According to a Brokerslink news announcement, this model aligns closely with Brokerslink’s philosophy of providing its independent broker partners and affiliates with the support of a large multinational organisation.
“Navacord has built an excellent reputation for delivering in-depth expertise and a forward-thinking approach to risk transfer for their clients,” said Brokerslink Chairman, José Manuel Fonseca. “These capabilities, together with the scale and scope of these services across Canada are important to our global partners and affiliates. I’m delighted to welcome them to Brokerslink.”
