Marsh McLennan has announced the appointment of Susan Potter (pictured above) as the US and Canada chief commercial officer, effective immediately.
In her new role, Potter is entrusted with steering initiatives tailored to enhancing Marsh McLennan's ability to address the needs of clients across the United States and Canada. She will collaborate closely with teams spanning Marsh, Mercer, Guy Carpenter, and Oliver Wyman.
Bringing over 25 years of expertise in commercial and public sector consulting, management, and leadership, Potter entered Mercer in 2019 as the chief commercial officer for the US and Canada. Prior to joining Mercer, she spent 25 years at Willis Towers Watson.
Based in Washington, D.C., Potter will report to Pat Tomlinson, Marsh McLennan's US and Canada CEO and president of Mercer.
