Marsh has made senior appointments within both its property and financial & professional (FINPRO) liability practices.
Michael Rouse has been named US property practice leader. He brings over 20 years of property insurance experience, most recently serving as Marsh’s US property placement leader. Rouse succeeds Duncan Ellis, who has left the firm. Rouse will report to Marsh US and Canada president Martin South.
Michelle Sartain has been appointed FINPRO practice leader for the US and Canada. She has more than 20 years of experience serving roles of increasing responsibility at Marsh’s FINPRO team and in the US sales team. She was most recently serving as US sales leader with Marsh. Sartain reports to Marsh JLT Specialty US and Canada leader Pat Donnelly, and succeeds Devin Beresheim, who has left the company.
Both Rouse and Sartain will be based in New York, and will join Marsh’s US executive committee, a release said.
“Marsh’s property and FINPRO teams are widely respected in the industry for their experience and risk expertise,” said Marsh US and Canada president Martin South.
South added that Marsh’s property and FINPRO teams will continue to offer clients “unrivaled” data, analytics, and risk transfer solutions, under the leadership of Rouse and Sartain.
