Argus Insurance Agencies Ltd. has been conferred the Stevie Award for Company of the Year in the Business Service category at the 12th International Business Awards.
The Silver Stevie was given recognizing the company’s excellence in various areas such as professional management, commercial and personal insurance solutions, good overall performance and customer goodwill.
Nominees for the award included more than 3,700 companies from over 60 countries across the world.
Reacting to the win, Vanessa Borg, Chief Executive of Argus Insurance, said that the award is a validation of the company’s customer-first approach which included setting-up a holistic training academy for employees.
“As a team, we have all rallied together to reach the high standards expected of Stevie Award winners and we have exceeded the benchmarks on a number of fronts,” she said.
Alison Hill, Argus Group Holdings CEO, said that the award is especially gratifying since the evaluation process takes customer feedback into account as well.
“We are pleased that our customer-centric mantra is being recognized by international bodies such as the IBA. The fact that the company was praised for its achievements in human resources is also a point of pride for us,” she said.
The Stevie Award – named for Greek word for “crowned” – will be awarded at a gala function on October 23 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Toronto.
