Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers, a founding Navacord Broker Partner, has announced its partnership with Atrix Insurance, effective April 1.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. The merger is expected to be effective November 1, 2025.
This collaboration is seen as a significant step for both firms as they look to enhance their presence in the insurance sector and offer expanded services to their clients. The partnership is expected to provide access to a wider range of insurance products and services, as well as greater national and provincial resources.
The partnership will not result in immediate changes for clients. Atrix Insurance said it will eventually transition to the Lloyd Sadd brand, but this change will not affect the core team or the level of service provided.
Both firms have also emphasized that the transition will enhance their ability to provide clients with a broader range of insurance products, from personal to commercial insurance, and tailored solutions for various needs.
“As we continue to grow, it’s important to align ourselves with partners who not only bring scale and resources, but who also share our values and commitment to personalized client service,” said Erin Matton, CEO of Atrix Insurance. “Partnering with Lloyd Sadd allows us to enhance our capabilities while staying true to who we are.”
Chris Huebner, president & CEO of Lloyd Sadd, highlighted the importance of the relationship between the two firms. “Both Atrix Insurance and Lloyd Sadd share a deep commitment to nurturing long-standing relationships with their clients, partners, and local communities,” he said.
“Through this partnership, clients will continue to receive the personalized service they have come to expect, while benefiting from the expanded resources and insurance solutions the partnership brings.”
The partnership announcement comes just a week after Lloyd Sadd announced it is merging with Iridium Risk Services. The combined entity is expected to operate under the Lloyd Sadd name, with Iridium becoming a new segment called Lloyd Sadd Specialty.
“We believe by joining forces with Iridium, we can further elevate our ability to meet and exceed the growing expectations and complexity of our clients while supporting communities and local businesses across Alberta and Western Canada," said Huebner.
