Law firm Singleton Urquhart LLP has named two new partners who specialize in insurance concerns.
Wei Kiat Sun and Elizabeth “Betsy” Segal, both previously associates with the firm, were named partners effective January 1, 2017.
“We are very pleased to welcome Betsy and Wei Kiat to our partnership,” said Singleton Urquhart managing partner and founder John Singleton Q.C. in a statement. “Their personalized approach with clients reflects the kind of service and dedication we have aimed to provide over the years and will enable us to build on that success.”

Segal’s practice is focused on insurance coverage and defence of complex commercial disputes and professional liability claims. A release said that she will be responsible for “assisting her clients in resolving the issues they face in their day to day activities.”
On the other hand, Sun’s practice focuses on business litigation and insurance defense. It was noted in a release that his specific focus is on the transportation and infrastructure industries.
