Intact Financial has revealed the results of votes conducted during its most recent Annual General Meeting of shareholders in Toronto.
During the event, shareholders were asked to vote for new directors for the company. The nominees listed in Intact’s management proxy circular dated March 29, 2018 were elected. The detailed results of that election are:

Participants were also asked to vote over the advisory resolution on the approach to executive compensation, which was disclosed in Intact’s management proxy circular dated March 29, 2018. 94.14% of shareholders (numbering 104,693,958) voted for the measure, while 5.86% (6,517,032) were against it.
Shareholders also voted over the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditor. Those who voted for the firm numbered 106,623,361 (95.84% of total votes), while those who withheld their votes numbered 4,629,927 (4.16%).
