InsureLine Brokers has announced leadership changes coming into 2025 as it looks to sustain and accelerate the growth from the previous year. The company said the changes are effective immediately.
Aly Kanji will relinquish his role as president to focus on the company’s overall strategic priorities and the recruitment of new franchisees to expand the company’s network and strengthen its market position. He will remain the company’s chief executive officer.
Kelly Walker will assume the role of president from Kanji. Walker most recently served as the company’s chief technology officer, where she was deeply involved in every facet of the insurance policy life cycle. As president, Walker is expected to take on a more active role in supervising the business's overall operations.
Taj Phagura was promoted to senior vice president of operations. Phagura has been effectively managing franchisee and insurer relationships and her experience in this field makes her suited to oversee operations, the company said.
Manjit Biring will take on the role of vice president of personal insurance. Biring will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the company’s personal lines portfolio.
Dawn Ladds will remain vice president of commercial insurance. Ladds joined the company in 2024 when she was tasked with building its commercial expertise and growing its commercial portfolio.
Barb Street will also continue as vice president of specialty insurance. Street also joined the company last year. She is focused on building out the company’s program business through InsureLine Solutions, the company’s managing general agent.
Looking ahead, InsureLine said it remains committed to leveraging its management’s expertise to grow its business.
