Insurance Business Canada (IBC) has honoured a select group of insurance companies for their efforts in advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) within their workplaces.
The companies were commended for both their progressive workplace environments and their ongoing commitment to DE&I programs.
The selection process undertaken by IBC’s research team spanned 15 weeks. Initially, companies were invited to present their DE&I activities from the past year. The research team then conducted in-depth interviews with industry professionals to establish benchmarks for DE&I practices and identify companies that have either met or surpassed these standards. Employee feedback was also gathered to measure the impact of these initiatives.
Only companies that received a rating of 4 or higher, out of 5, were awarded the title of having 5-Star DE&I programs.
