In its latest issue, Insurance Business Canada names the best brokerages and insurance superstars who rose above the challenges of 2020 to achieve remarkable growth, in its Elite Brokers and Top 10 Brokerages reports.
With many strong nominations received for both annual showcases, IBC narrowed down the list of winners using a unique methodology to ensure that all were ranked on a level playing field.
“Some faced down challenge after challenge – including a hardening market and shrinking capacity – and managed to not only drive record growth, but also become better brokerages in the process,” said the publication on this year’s Top 10 Brokerages.
Twenty-five individuals were named Elite Brokers – “combined, the 2021 Elite Brokers placed more than $168 million in premiums and nearly $12 million in new business commissions for the year – a significant increase over 2020’s $147 million in premiums and $8.1 million in commissions.”
