The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) has introduced its new executive officers and board of directors after confirming their appointments during IBAC’s recent annual general meeting in Collingwood.

Joining current IBAC chief executive Peter Braid as executive committee members are chair Traci Boland from Ontario, president Mathieu Brunet from Quebec, president-elect Brett McGregor from Manitoba, and vice president Jessica Asano from British Columbia.

IBAC’s board for 2024-2025 consists of the following leaders:

  • Michele Carver – Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia
  • Jody Lohr – Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta
  • Jaycee Turtle – Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan
  • Don Normandeau – Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba
  • Suzanne Pountney – Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario
  • Michael Bastone – Toronto Insurance Council
  • Lucie Fréchette – Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Quebec
  • James Higgins– Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick
  • Rhonda Kelly – Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia
  • Mary Beth McInnis – Insurance Brokers Association of Prince Edward Island
  • Bill Buckingham – Insurance Brokers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador
