Allstate Canada subsidiary Pembridge Insurance Company has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) by renewing its participation in the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the full partner level.
The continued partnership will help advance BIP, a national marketing initiative designed to highlight the value insurance brokers offer to their clients, particularly in terms of providing choice, advice, and advocacy.
Beyond the campaign, Pembridge’s sponsorship will contribute to IBAC’s broader strategic efforts. These include driving technological innovation within the insurance sector, fostering professional growth among brokers, and supporting IBAC’s federal advocacy to keep banking and insurance separate.
“Brokers are an important, valued part of the Canadian insurance industry,” said Bryan Hall, vice president of distribution at Pembridge. “The Broker Identity Program is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our support and appreciation for the brokers we have partnered with across the country who play a vital role in serving customers.”
IBAC chief executive Peter Braid (pictured) added: “Pembridge’s renewed investment is a strong vote of confidence for the broker channel and recognizes IBAC’s important role in advocating for a strong and competitive insurance marketplace that benefits everyone.
“We greatly appreciate their continued partnership and their commitment to the broker channel.”
Other full backers of the BIP campaign include Gore Mutual Insurance Company, Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company, The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group, Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, Wynward Insurance Group, Intact Insurance Company, Unica Insurance, HSB Canada, Portage Mutual, Red River Mutual, Economical Insurance, Travelers Canada, and Sandbox Mutual Insurance.
