iA Financial Group has partnered with health and wellness services provider Novus Health to improve the health literacy of the former’s group benefits clients.
Through the new partnership, iA Financial’s group insurance clients will have “personalized access” to Novus Health’s health information specialists, who can answer clients’ health questions over a live telephone call. In addition, Novus Health’s Health Navigation Platform is available for iA Financial’s clients to use 24/7 on their online and mobile devices; the platform is a comprehensive web resource for health concerns.
Both the platform and the telephone support line are fully bilingual, a release said.
Novus also provides a Health Risk Assessment tool that can “provide a snapshot of a population’s health risks.” Members can choose to receive a personalized health report that clearly explains their condition, allowing them to make informed choices regarding their wellbeing.
The partnership enables iA Financial’s group benefits members to participate in Novus’s “Stay Healthy at Work” program. The absence and disability avoidance program connects members to a health coach (either a trained registered nurse or another physical/mental health professional) who can help them manage their health issues.
“With the full range of enhancements from Novus Health to offer all of its group insurance clients going forward, iA Financial Group is giving members the power to improve their health literacy, health outcomes, wellness and quality of life,” a statement from Novus Health read.
