Nicolas Darveau-Garneau has been tapped by iA Financial Corporation as a strategic advisor, focusing on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance client experiences.
In light of his new role, Darveau-Garneau will step down from iA Financial’s board of directors, effective October 1. This will allow him to concentrate on the mandate and pursue other projects.
Additionally, the new strategic advisor will no longer serve on the boards of Canadian insurance companies affiliated with iA Financial.
Darveau-Garneau joined iA Financial’s board in May 2018, serving on the human resources and compensation committee.
With over three decades of experience in the IT sector, his expertise centres on digital innovation within business environments.
Jacques Martin, chair of the board, expressed his gratitude for Darveau-Garneau’s contributions.
Following Darveau-Garneau’s departure from the board, the roster consists of 14 members, evenly split between seven women and seven men.
