iA Financial Group has appointed Éric Jobin to the position of executive vice-president, group benefits and retirement solutions.
In addition to his new role, Jobin will also join the company’s executive committee, which is chaired by iA Financial Group president and CEO Denis Ricard. Jobin will report to iA Financial executive vice-president and chief growth officer Michael L. Stickney.
A company statement outlined that Jobin has been serving in the position of EVP of group benefits and retirement solutions on an interim basis since March 2020.
Jobin joined iA Financial in 1999, beginning his career in the company’s corporate actuarial services unit. He has since taken on different roles while rising through the ranks, later becoming vice-president of corporate actuarial services in 2015, then vice-president of actuarial and finance of group benefits and retirement solutions in 2017.
He has also served as chairman of iA Financial Group’s employee pension committee.
Jobin is a graduate in actuarial science from Laval (FSA., FCIA). He also has a certification in leadership and management skills from Concordia University.
