Hub International has announced two more acquisitions in Canada, with the brokerage swooping for CGC Consultants in Quebec and The Musgrave Group in Alberta.
GCC Consultants is an advisory firm located in Montreal, Quebec. It specializes in various aspects of human resources strategy, including recruitment, pay equity, global compensation, governance, and communication.
The firm’s managing partner Claudio Gardonio will become part of Hub’s Quebec operations.
Similarly, Hub has acquired the shares of 1510934 Alberta Ltd., which does business as The Musgrave Group. President Dave Musgrave and the rest of the team will operate under the umbrella of Hub Prairies.
Musgrave Group is located in Canmore and provides tailored employee health benefits programs for small and mid-size companies. Following the acquisition, it will be referred to as The Musgrave Group, a Hub International company.
Earlier this week, Hub announced its acquisition of JRP Financial Services, another Alberta firm.
Other recent developments for the brokerage include Liam Brown’s appointment as the new leader of its healthcare and life sciences practice in Canada.
