Hub International Limited has once again added to its specialty practices by acquiring another Canadian insurance broker.
The company has acquired the firms John Galon Insurance Services and Galon Management (Galon Insurance Brokers). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
With locations in both Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Galon Insurance Brokers is a full-service insurance brokerage that offers personal, commercial, and agribusiness insurance. The firm also provides other professional services, such as government auto.
Following the acquisition, Galon Regina operations president Brian Galon and Galon Saskatoon operations president Phil Galon will join the Hub Prairies team. The rest of the family-owned Galon team – Jason Galon in Regina, and Daniel Galon, Jeff Galon and Jennifer Galon in Saskatoon – will remain in their current leadership roles.
