Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the shares of Canada-based ES3 Insurance Services, which operates as ES3 Advisory. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ES3 Advisory is a Vancouver-based employee benefits and pension consulting firm founded in 1999 by Darrell Ert, president of the company. The firm will join Hub TOS, led by Faizal Mitha, vice president of employee strategies. Mitha will report to Dave Terry, president of Hub TOS.
“ES3 is perfectly set up for the next chapter with a partner that shares our values and has the scale to make a real difference in the North American space,” Ert said.
The acquisition, the latest in a string of M&A deals by Hub, is part of the global brokerage’s ongoing strategy to expand its geographic footprint.
