Hub International continues to solidify its Canadian presence with the acquisition of the shares of Desilets Insurance Brokers in Manitoba.
Desilets Insurance Brokers, based in Elie, Manitoba, offers personal and commercial insurance lines. The company specializes in providing insurance solutions for the farming industry, in particular.
According to a release, Desilets’ “industry-focused approach” is in line with Hub’s recent launch of its specialties practices.
Following the acquisition, Desilets’ operations will become part of Hub Manitoba.
This is the latest in a series of acquisitions for Hub in the North American region. Earlier this week, the company announced that it had purchased the shares of Kitchener, Ontario-based GMS Insurance.
