Hartville Pet Insurance Group has announced the launch of a complete coverage plan for pet health insurance.
The product, called ASPCA Pet Health Insurance Complete Coverage Plan, covers accidents, injuries, illnesses, and the like. It also features simplified reimbursement based on the percentage of invoice. Notably, the plan will allow insureds to visit any veterinarian, specialist, or emergency clinic either in Canada or the US.

The aforementioned reimbursement will be paid based on a percentage customers select when enrolling for coverage; consumers can choose from 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement options. Moreover, the plan’s deductibles and coverage limits apply on an annual basis and can be adjusted to suit the needs of the pet and owner.
“Complete coverage is designed to be easy for our customers to use and understand,” Hartville Pet Insurance Group chief marketing officer Liz Watson said. “By providing them with the coverages they’re looking for and straightforward reimbursement process, pet parents will have one less thing to worry about as they help their furry family member recover from a recent veterinary visit.”
With the plan, each type of coverage (be it accident, behavioral, congenital, hereditary, or illness) includes exam fees, diagnostics, and treatment. Advanced treatments such as chemotherapy, and even stem-cell therapy, will also be covered.
“Complete Coverage is a simple plan that covers all the important stuff and more, including exam fees, diagnostics, alternative therapies and treatments,” explained Watson. “ASPCA Pet Health Insurance is protection you can trust.”
According to a release, accident coverage starts one day after enrollment, while coverage for illnesses, ligament issues and hereditary and congenital conditions starts 14 days after enrollment.
