Dubbed “Inspiring Talks, Real Solutions,” the two-part event will be held at the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts on June 6.
The forum will feature talks by astronaut Chris Hadfield, environmentalist David Suzuki and futurist Jim Carroll; the three will offer their perspectives on matters such as climate change, disruptive technologies and economic uncertainty.
“The afternoon will focus on real and compelling solutions to the challenges faced by brokers, and promises to deliver exciting, unique and relevant content for insurance professionals of all levels,” a release detailed. Delegates can choose to attend one of two seminars: Idea Accelerator for leaders, or the Gore Mutual Experience for frontline staff.

“This unique event aims to inspire brokers, provide insights into the future and offer practical ideas about strategies and investments that will win customers. We’ll deliver lots of rich content, entertainment and a bit of wow-factor throughout the day,” Gore Mutual vice-president of sales, marketing and distribution Paul Jackson said.
“We’ve designed Fast Forward so that brokers will leave feeling energized and full of ideas no matter what kind of role they have in the business.” Gore Mutual president and CEO Heidi Sevcik said. “Gore Mutual is investing more than ever into brokers and this event is an example of the kind of real life engagement that helps to forge partnerships. We don’t just say it, we do it!”
