The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) has announced that Gore Mutual Insurance Company is the latest insurer to maintain its support of IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP).
Gore Mutual retains its support for the BIP at full partner level. Other insurers that have previously renewed their full partner status with IBAC include Economical Insurance, Wawanesa Mutual Insurance, Travelers Canada, RSA Canada, Trisura Guarantee Insurance, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, and Unica Insurance.
IBAC’s BIP is a national advertising campaign that raises awareness of the value that insurance brokers provide to their clients.
Gore Mutual’s Full Partner support will also extend to IBAC’s other initiatives, such as the association’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and IBAC’s advocacy to maintain the separation of banking and insurance.
“We’re proud to support IBAC and the important work it does through the Broker Identity Program,” said Gore Mutual CEO Andy Taylor. “We’re radically transforming our business in a way that will redefine Gore Mutual and our place in the market. Our franchise has never been stronger thanks to the support of brokers, and our future growth and success is dependent on the great relationships we’re continuing to build with them.”
Taylor added that Gore Mutual “strongly believes in the expertise and value that brokers provide to Canadians,” and thus remains committed to investing in the broker channel.
“Gore’s long-standing partnership with IBAC demonstrates their unwavering commitment to insurance brokers and to the customers we jointly serve,” commented IBAC CEO Peter Braid. “We greatly appreciate their renewed investment and their vote of confidence in the value of the broker distribution channel.”
