Gore Mutual Insurance has been certified as a “Great Workplace” by Great Place to Work Canada.
The certification was given to Gore after the Great Place to Work committee conducted an independent analysis of the insurer based on employee feedback. An anonymous survey was used to help gauge the employees’ workplace conditions. This is the second time the insurer has been given the certification; Gore Mutual last received it in 2015.
“It may sound cliché, but what truly sets us apart as a company is our people,” said Gore Mutual vice-president of Human Resources Catherine Leclair. “Innovation and collaboration have driven our company since its beginning and every one of our employees contributes to our progress and success.”
“We’re always pushing ourselves to do better and continue to work hard to create a forward-thinking, inclusive environment that people are excited to be a part of and where they can develop and grow, both personally and professionally,” Leclair added.
Gore Mutual has also been recognized as one of Waterloo, Ontario’s top employers. The insurer has maintained this distinction for eight straight years.
