Gore Mutual Insurance has revealed that it has once again been certified as a Great Place to Work.
The company received the certification after undergoing an independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Canada (GPW). The certification is based on direct feedback from employees via an anonymous survey about their workplace experience.
Last year, GPW selected Gore Mutual as one of the Best Workplaces in the country. It also included Gore Mutual on its list of Best Workplaces in Financial Services and Insurance. The company also won the distinction in 2017.
“Throughout our history, it’s been our people that have shaped our company and have kept us moving forward,” said Gore Mutual’s vice president of human resources Catherine Leclair. “Our organization is filled with talented people whose passion and innovative ideas play a major part in making Gore Mutual a great place to be a part of.”
Leclair added that Gore Mutual is not the kind to rest on its laurels, with plans to introduce new wellness initiatives and additional resources for employees. Gore Mutual is also creating “modern, flexible workplaces” to enable greater collaboration among employees, giving them the freedom to work the way they want.
