Ontario insurance brokerage Gifford Carr Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Bernie Robertson (pictured) as branch manager of its office in North Bay, ON.
In his new role, Robertson will be responsible for developing sector-specific programs for underserved market segments, as well as driving new sales and mentoring new brokers.
Robertson is an active member of the wider insurance and mining communities in Northern Ontario. He is a facilitator for the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario, finance chair/supplier member of the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association, and most recently became a professional development committee member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum.
In a statement, Gifford Carr is “a seasoned insurance professional with a vast range of knowledge.”
