Global brokerage, risk management, and consulting services firm Gallagher has announced that it has named Jonathan Foster as the new senior vice president of the company’s benefits & HR consulting division in Toronto.
In a Press release, Gallagher said Foster will play an integral role in developing and managing client and industry relationships in the region, as well as overseeing the Toronto consulting team.
Foster has over 15 years of experience, having most recently served as the leader of Gallagher’s Canadian compensation team. He joined the brokerage in 2018, when his previous employer Accompass was acquired by Gallagher.
“Jonathan’s strategic focus and our strong team of talented consultants in Toronto will enable us to expand our service capabilities across the region and is a win-win for our clients,” said Gallagher benefits & HR consulting division Central Canada executive area president Sarah Beech.

In its earnings report for the first quarter of 2022, Gallagher posted a significant 30% growth in revenue for its core brokerage and risk management segments. But the brokerage has also advised that its actions in response to the Russia-Ukraine war would impact its full-year net after tax earnings by up to US$0.03 per share.
