Foresters Financial has announced the appointment of Andrea Frossard (pictured) as chief commercial officer, effective immediately. Frossard, who will report directly to president and CEO Matt Berman, will lead sales, product management, and enterprise marketing across the company’s US and Canadian operations.

In her new role, Frossard will focus on leveraging synergies across the North American businesses to drive growth and optimize results. Her responsibilities will span sales management and marketing, as well as overseeing the company’s insurance and financial products in the US and Canada.

Frossard expressed her enthusiasm for joining Foresters, citing the company’s blend of innovation and purpose.

“I look forward to collaborating with this incredible team to drive growth and create meaningful change while staying rooted in Foresters mission of supporting their members and their families to do more good,” said Frossard.

Frossard previously worked at Canada Life, where she was senior vice president of Par Insurance Solutions. Her career began at London Life, which later merged with Great-West Life and Canada Life in 2020. Over the years, she held positions in actuarial marketing, insurance solutions, reinsurance, and large-group cases, among other areas.

Berman noted Frossard’s extensive experience in life insurance and leadership, emphasizing her commitment to community involvement.

Her leadership, both professionally and within the community, will strengthen our impact across all our stakeholders. Frossard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Windsor and is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. She also led Canada Life’s Women in Leadership employee resource group, focusing on mentoring and networking for emerging female leaders.

Foresters Financial, which operates in the US, Canada, and the UK, provides life insurance and financial solutions, with a strong emphasis on community well-being and member-driven initiatives.
